[12:35 PM] Dale Irata: First, on June 22 it looks like we will have events for 19 HOURS starting at 2AM SLT. Mers are invited to EVERYTHING–I’m pretty sure nearly every event is on or very near the water.

[12:35 PM] Dale Irata: Of course, the BIG event for you is the annual SAILS AND TAILS PARTY at Nantucket Yacht Club. The glass dance floor is installed every year just for this party, and the mer grotto underneath really is beautiful.
[12:35 PM] Dale Irata: Next, for the first time, we are a RELAY FOR LIFE event. The Relay Weekend is two weeks earlier, but the campaign extends thru June 30.
[12:36 PM] Dale Irata: Finally a big reason for joining Relay this year is a brand new event–a 43-sim Fun Run/Walk thru the islands of Second Norway. (That’s a whole lot like what Relayers do, and some have already said they’ll be there!)
[12:36 PM] Dale Irata: I am pretty sure we can create a mer route thru there too! So if you’d love a long swim thru a really beautiful area, you can look forward to this. The route will be open thru JUNE 28, so lots of time.

I encourage everyone to check out Static’s Plankbarrow region especially, where there’s tons of mer and pirate shopping to discover in support of Relay For Life, which fundraises for the American Cancer Society! Well, Conch Island is opening next weekend and I grew some legs to go visit some of the land dinosaurs. The island is also much more swimmable for mer this year and is entirely different than what you saw from us last year! There are tons of cool mermazing things to see, do, buy and grab for free!
Plus, one of the biggest game-changers for mer has arrived as a festival exclusive: a brand new mermaid AO HUD from OMY!
