We don’t repeat things for latecomers – a log is posted on our blog after the meeting. This is not a place for public debate – this is a helpful place. we all help each other slive an aquatic lifestyle.

[12:14 PM] Dale Irata: Hi! I’m Dale, and I’m here to tell you that our 6th Annual SUMMER SAILSTICE IN SL will happen on Saturday, June 21. In fact, there will be events throughout that Friday thru Sunday.
[12:14 PM] Dale Irata: SS in SL is an official event of the 25th Annual Summer Sailstice Celebration of Sailing. Around the world, yacht clubs, marinas, clubs and individuals put on all sorts of events.
[12:14 PM] Dale Irata: We started our virtual Sailstice in 2020 as an alternative for RL sailors when COVID hit. Since then, we’ve grown bigger every year.
[12:14 PM] Dale Irata: FOR MERS, there’s lots to do! You’re all welcome to swim with the cruisers and racers, and nearly all the music events are adjacent to water.
[12:14 PM] Dale Irata: The Nautical Expo is three full regions this year, and there will be live Internet radio from many events! It’s a really great time for sailors and mers to get to know each other, and maybe even try each other’s kind of fun.
[12:15 PM] Dale Irata: The BIG event we’ve had for you since the beginning is the SAILS & TAILS PARTY at 1:30PM on Saturday June 21.

Maybe the event demanded it, and I can understand why. The Cathrone is a wearable fuzzy kitty chair. Can you imagine strangers having an absolute blast racing and running up and down the aisles of the event…non stop? Lag? Not so much. It was stealing the attention from other vendors, lol.
